Cheers mate. Try to stick with independent contractors rather than the larger companies anyway - tend to give a better price and do better work I find.

Still could use a recommendation from someone who's used a roofer they can recommend. So far, have one decent quote, one that was ridiculous, one who came out to quote then didn't want the job, a few tradies who never bothered to ring me back, and a couple who said they'd come to give a quote but never showed up! Know exactly what we want done so just need another quote or two before we make a decision - wouldn't think it'd be that hard:)

The others either didn't want the job or quoted too high. Haven't gotten our job done yet as need to install evap a/c on the roof first.
