Since being granted my visa in 2006 I have reverted back to my maiden name, and have a new passport. So I sent both passports to the office in Adelaide to have the visa put in the new passport. They have arrived back in the UK this morning - both old and new passport in exactly the condition I sent them - no alterations to either and no correspondence either to say what I have to do next if anything?! Am confused, to say the least!!

Has anyone else had a similar situation?

Don't want to get to arrivals on Dec12th and be reused entry :shocked:!

Now im no expert, but as i understand it if your passport runs out, the officals dont issue another visa to put into your new passport and theirfore have to travel with both your new and old passports.

Hope this helps in someway.
