New Visa fees?

Hi All

 

Just passed our tra and about to start visa application - Slightly confused by new rules that came in on 1st Sept regarding fees. I thought the new increased fees related to the TRA but have been reading other posts that say fee increases relate to the visa application.

 

Can anybody enlighten me?

Hi Tim,

I just got these fees off the diac site http://www.diac.gov.au/ and they have the new visa numbers so I assume they are up to date, I think they have gone up a little but not too much.

The 1st instalment of the Visa Application Charge must be paid at the time of application.

The 2nd instalment of the Visa Application Charge for dependents aged 18 years or over with less than functional English must be paid before the visa is granted.
