    Hi.

My wife had to do this as she's a French national but it's the same test for everyone. She did hers at Cardiff Uni and it was spread over 2 days. You will sit 3 separate exams: oral, listening (comprehension) and a long written exam. Max. score is a 9 and it costs £95, plus an optional £10 for the accompanying guide and test software.

    Hi,

I did IELTS in June, as a precaution for the new rules. The structure is a Justin quotes in his reply, and it isn't too much of a challenge if you don't mind going back to school for a few hours! I managed 9 in all domains so it was worth it as a backup. I would check the new guidance as to whether you need to do it, because as I understand it if you are a uk passport holder you don't need to sit the tests unless SA query your ability to communictae in english.

If you decide to do the test and want some test papers, I have mine which I will galdly send you foc as I don't need them anymore.
