Preferably in the South, but anywhere really. Now winter has set in I just fancy steak and kidney pud, jam roly poly, spotted dick etc etc.....

Seen it in "The Shop" on Jetty road but it's bloomin' expensive !!

    Thanks in advance !!! :)

DDSUET.gifI have some of this in my pantry, haven't used it yet though. I would have bought it from Woolies or Coles.

    Thanx,

I've looked in all the usual places but can't seem to find it anywhere. Unless i'm looking in the wrong place (flour & baking section).

In woolies (noarlunga) it is with the stuffing and breadcrumbs, same aisle as the stock and gravy.........

Foodland at Castle Plaza used to sell real butchers suet, not sure if they still have it. I use the Tandaco stuff and it works just as well.

In Woolies with the gravy, stuffing mixes etc, not expensive. Ask someone who works there and they will be able to tell you

The Tandaco Suet mix is a micture of suet and flour, it works well as dumplings, dont know about puddings though. I always buy mine from the local butcher

I think the lolly shop in Christies Beach has the proper Atora suet just like in the UK.
