We have to use 00 11 44 on some numbers (don't know why) we rang the phone company to complain and they just told us to put 11 before the 44.

but only ring the number that is a normal number..ie 01273.......(dropping the 0) other numbers such as local charge rates cost a fortune from here

Hi,

 

If its a 0870 or 0845 number look at 'Say no to 870 numbers' on Google, if you go into this it will give you an option to click on, its in the left hand corner to find an alternative geographical number.
