All tackle shops should sell them as do K Mart I think.

My favourite tackle shop sells them too (Anglers Choice).

The fuel is Meths.

Try different wood chips to what you like. There are some really fancy ones with herbs mixed in.

My favourite are the chips sold at Anglers Choice made from American Oak wine barrels - cheap too!!!

Two ways of preparing for smoking:

Rub in 50/50 brown sugar and rock salt. Leave to marinade for 30 mins.Shake excess off and then towel as dry as you can.

Soak in a strong brine mixture (ordinary cooking salt) - an egg should float in the brine if it's right.

Leave for 30 mins and dry as much as poss again.

Experiment as much as you want.

The finished product will keep for up to 4 days in a fridge.

I can get Tommies coming out like kippers now.:)

I smoke chicken breasts in ours ............ yummy!

BCF sell them, and some interesting sawdusts (rum flavour!!)

I got our smoker in the little camping shop down Beach Road, Christies Beach. You can make your own with an old metal biscuit tin apparently ........... have to try that one day!
