    Friends of us have just sent us this... it is a sim card which you can get for free but calls to UK are 0.5c p min (landline) and 19c a minute (mobiles) and 15c texts - no connection fees etc. I think it looks pretty good from here but being a techo phobe I have no real idea. Perhaps someone on this glorious site will have a looksee??:notworthy:

    there were people up at Tea Tree Plaza this morning doing some promotion on this. I didnt stop as I thought they wanted money :skeptical:

    What's a "flagfall"?

     

    It says "Please note that all international calls are charged per minute and are subject to a Flagfall of 25c"

     

    Does that mean each call costs you minimum 25c?

    I got all 4 of us Lebara sim cards when we first arrived, they each cost $30, but all had $30 credit on them. They are free to phone any Lebara number too, which we found great. They have served us well & I have phoned the UK loads with them. You can manage your account online too with top ups. They sell them in most shopping plazas.
