Hubby accepted a job offer yesterday and we are due in Adelaide in 4 weeks time :arghh:

Does anyone know of any good, fully furnished short term rentals ??? Or websites ??? For the west side of Adelaide, near to Royal Park or the surrounding suburbs !!

Any help would be very much appreciated !!

You could try Donna Jacobs of Tom Walsh real estate. She manages a number of furnished properties in the area: djacob@westnet.com.au

Or try http://www.etheltonapartments.com.au/ they have a number of beautifully appointed apartments, they are just across the road from Dolphinity (my in-laws stayed in them a couple of years ago and they were lovely). They also own apartments with sea views at Semaphore.

It's going to be a hectic few weeks ahead for you!! Best of luck and welcome!

There are also a few short term rentals advertised on the PIA site in this section http://www.pomsinadelaide.com/forum/jobs-business-adverts/10453-short-term-furnished-rentals.html

Adelaide Short Term Rentals Adelaide Short Term Rentals - Furnished rental accommodation Adelaide, South Australiais also a good one and one I am aware of that doesn’t charge a commission to owners to advertise their properties.

Some of the commercial ones like Stayz, Take A Break, Rent A Home are excellent sites because they provide variety but tend to charge a commission to the owners because they are an agent for owners of properties. They provide a good service but obviously are not going to do it for nothing. Some of the homes on there are truly luxurious. I personally have stayed at one at the York Peninsula Yondah Beach House for a few days as a treat. For properties there is a commission per night charged to the owner and this increases the owners costs. Sometimes you will see the same property advertised in various spots which maybe a bit cheaper for this reason.
