Light fittings

Hi

Were moving over early 08 and had a question on if i could bring some great light fittings we have?

They are mains powered not low voltage with adaptors etc

Hi Julie,

the light fittings should work fine as it's the same voltage in Aus as here, but I think even somthing as simple as changing a light fitting has to be done by a licenced electrical contractor.:arghh:

Yes you are right, as does a plug, I have heard that fire due to own electrical work would not be covered on household insurance. It would depend on who knows what though I think.
