Yorke Peninsula

Can anybody recommend an area to stay on the Yorke Peninsula. I've heard Marion Bay is supposed to be nice but would like to hear any other recommendations.

we have stayed here twice....the accommodation is superb, right on the beach...Its in a place called Point Souttar...

Innes National Park is beautiful and definitely a must do if you go to Marion Bay National Parks and Wildlife South Australia - Innes national park. It's my favourite part of the YP. It's a remote area but lots of tourists. Roads are good.

We love Yorke Peninsula use to go at least once a month, It depends how long you want to go for and which side you want to stay but Hardwick Bay is beautiful but limited in rentals, just round the corner from there is Point Turton which is a new area has a lovely taven (Turton Taven, good food and Kids play room) Its a great base to travel around and explore the rest of the area, Agree with Kris Innes national park is great, beautiful views but then to be honest the whole area is great, dont be afraid to take some tracks off the main roads they lead to some of the most spectacular beaches, Its just a great place.... ENJOY.
