Can anyone tell me what TRA means, Just starting out on the emigration road, and new to this site, have consultation with agent later in week.

hola, im dave. Did my Tra earlier on in year and got loads of advice from people on this site. Im a mental health nurse and it wasn't that difficult to sort out.

Certified copies- ring round local solicitors, JPs (i contacted the local magistrates court). Prices really vary to certify copies, but a local solicitor did me 8 or 9 things for a tenner.

Postage- i think a lot of people use a courier but i used the "international signed for" service from the post office. i think it cost @ £8 and was fine.

Paying your assessing authority- i got a Aus $ bankers draft from my bank (natwest). i cant remember how much this was but think they charged about £17.
