another 457 question (IT Position)

Im just about to lodge a 457 application.. the nomination for position has been approved, and so the next step is for me to apply for the visa..

 

Its an IT related position, and I was in the middle of doing an ACS skills assessment for an independant skilled migrant visa - do I still require this for a 457?

 

Also, do I require a Medical?

 

Im struggling to find a checklist or anything on the immi website, could someone point me in the right direction please?

 

PS. This isnt for a job in adelaide or SA even, but I assume 457 rules and regs are not state specific?

Only thing I know is that the rules on paying for schools are different here in SA - on a 457 here you just pay local fees, but in some of the other states you have to pay international fees ($$$$$$!!!).
