2 day cooling off period

As from Monday 29/11 there is now a 2 day cooling off period when buying a car (2nd hand only ) which includes a saturday.

We sold our car privately and was paid with a bankers chequeas in the UK its as good as cash.WRONG !!! HERE IN OZ THEY STILL TAKE UP TO 5 WORKING DAYS AND CAN BE STOPPED.

Luckily for me i had no problems as the people were nice and the car was good but could easily have been taken away and then the cheque stopped when inter state.
