What a weird experience yesterday.

We set off of on daybreak from O'Sullies ramp .Going to cross the Gulf and fish Tapley Shoals.

25k's out we suddenly hit fog - weird stuff, like being inside a cloud.Temp dropped by 15 degrees at least, moisture dripping off everything,no sound.

It was like this for 25k's on to the Shoals, obviously we slowed right down.

Had a charter boat appear out of nowhere on us - he had radar.

Expected to see Johnny Depp on the Black Pearl come sailing past next

A very eerie /weird experience.

Would not have missed it though!

No decent fish to report of - we missed all the tide timings on our spots due to the slow down

A few more and Tyke will be able to offer spooky Johnny Depp spotting trips lol

Hmmmm????

Methinks you may have an idea there - as much chance as I have catching a big fish at the moment.

Going through a dry spell on the wet stuff.

Let's see what Monday brings.:err:
