ASPC Processing times?

    Recommended Posts

Has anybody had the update from ASPC regarding processing times yet?

I've sent a few e-mails for the auto-response, but had nothing back yet.

If anyone has had the information for this week (30th October) could they PM me and I will give my e-mail address for a forwarding copy of the e-mail.

    Many thanks.:notworthy:

    Hi guys

nope nothing yet. I'm watching my email like a hawk ;-)

We've applied online for the 495 visa 26 July and we haven't even received the "receipt" yet. I'm a bit confused... I've checked the online tracking and it said my Health requirements are finalised on 18/09??? I'm getting really nervous now as we haven't heard ANYTHING yet and I'm booking our flights next week!!! We're planning to go travelling Jan 08 for 3 months (without the visa) and would like to activate it when we enter Adelaide in March... that's if we can get the whole visa thing sorted in Auckland... we're only there from the Monday and flying out on the Friday (and I've been told they are closed on Wednesdays!!)

Actually, saying that outloud makes me even more depressed!!! ;-)

    Debbie

Offshore Applications received on or after 1 September 2007: Processing applications received on 22 October 2007

Offshore applications lodged before 1 September 2007*: Receipting applications received on 30 July 2007 and acknowledging applications received on 9 July 2007.

    * For these applications please note: Applicants and representatives who have not authorised e-mail communication will not receive separate advice that the ASPC has received and receipted an application and will receive the standard acknowledgement letter and receipt details in due course.

Please note that any delay in acknowledging an application does not affect the date on which a valid application is recorded as having been received and does not delay processing of the application.

Once an application has been acknowledged it will be allocated to a case officer for further assessment as soon as possible, however, the ASPC receives a large number of applications and you will not be contacted immediately.

Thanks Mozzy, but I already have that one from last week, I e-mailed aspc for this weeks update (30/10), but this morning opened my e-mail to last weeks also!

I don't think they have updated their systems or haven't moved on any, which is an even bigger concern!

    thanks
