Planning your route by bus

    Recommended Posts

For any newbies who haven't discovered it yet, thought I'd add a quick recommendation for the Adelaide Metro route planner - Welcome to the Adelaide Metro Website - absolutely brilliant for working out how to get somewhere using busses, including connections if necessary, alternative routes etc.

With the festive season upon us, might be useful.

Here's an example of what you get: http://www.google.com.au/maps?ie=UTF8&f=d&dirflg=r&saddr=zone+c+paradise+interchange&daddr=rhino+rooms,+1/13+frome+street,+adelaide&date=15/12/2010&ttype=arr&time=19:30

Taking a bus here is SO easy. All the bus stops are sequentially numbered and the trip planner tells you which number stop to get off at. Great for noobies that don't know where they are!

Just to throw a spanner in the works.

Bus time tables changing on Jan 16th and the time tables are already in the metro office or a morphettvile depot.

I will bring the list home from work and put up what routes are changing.
