Re: the tap inn, spoke to the waiters when we were there in Sept, and apparently it was just the accomodation that was the problem, but was definitely not closing.

For curry, our personal favourite is the Raj on Taj. They have a couple of branches around Unley. Melt in the mouth butter chicken. the other stuff is good too, but the butter chicken is enough reason for us to use it as our standard take-away despite living in Walkerville.

If one likes Mexican food try Lucky Lupitas in Bedford Park corner South Rd and Flinders Drive. The food is very good and as authentic as one could expect for Oz. The place is small and funky and is packed to the rafters at night so one should arrive by 6pm. The beef ribs melt in your mouth and the chicken mole is divine. Great value, too.

For curry the locals and those from the sub continent go to Indian Temptations on Main North Road in Enfield. Looks dodgy decor-wise but renovations are taking place and it's the 'real deal' as they say. Ideal for take-away. Great prices and the food is made in front of you.
