moana beach?

    this is probably a long shot but is anyone thinking of going to the beach at moana on christmas day?i know poeple are going to aldinga beach but as it's our first xmas and we have only been here a few weeks we thought we would try the beach were we live.it seems quite busy today so hoping tommorow will be good.mick and sharon:daydreaming:

    we always have a walk and a swim at moana on xmas day. We too used to live just off the esplanade . Its a fab beach, bet it was busy Australia day !!!!

    We were a bit shocked at Australia day.There was fighting on the esplanade and the police came in their droves!They have been and painted over the graffitti on the toilet block and it's back to being lovely Moana beach again!

    OMG !! Thats crap !! We knew it would be busy so went down to Sellick for a few hours. With the weather forcast for the weekend i think sunday will be a must !!!!:cool:

    We used to live up there and used the beach regularly its a beautiful beach....we spent Australia Day @ Silver Sands...and it was heaving..not sure about any trouble....took the dog for a walk the morning after and it was spotless....

    It was 3 rows deep with cars:err:

    They stopped them coming in by car by about 10am

    It was a great atmosphere there though. We arrived at 9am and were there till 6ish

    Down Moana beach every Saturday morning with the Surf life saving club Nippers training (kids aged 6-14) just love the beach there

    All Families welcome!!! is great for the kids
