    hi guys

we have family over from the uk again this year and are looking for some things to do this week, they have done all the "tourist" sites and we were wondering if anyone has any little gems that they know of that perhaps we could visit

    thanks for any help

Have you driven down the southern coast??

Have a wander down past Myponga ( great photo opportunity at the viewing point by the dam)

Further down the coast are little townships such as Rapid Bay, very scenic and quiet.

    Carrickalinga Beach is beautiful!

Keep going down to Cape Jervis with lovely views over to Kangaroo Island.

    Have fun exploring!

Re Tykes reply ..... there's a good picnic spot at Starfish Hill right next to the wind farm. Fantastic views from up there right over KI and Cape Jervis

If you go up to Mt Lofty they have a tourist info centre there, so you can pick up some brochures.. also has a good gift shop if they wanted some suvernirs (hungover and cant for the life of me remember the spelling of that one- sorry)

you can make a day of it as Hahndorf is a five minute drive from there also.

A great place to visit - bit scary the first time we drove down the track!

I think it's closer from the Victor Harbour end than via the Cape Jervis way!
