We are wondering if any of you are from Aberdeenshire/Scotland living in Adelaide already or planning to move out there within next year?

Thanks for the reply!... we live in Drumwhindle, 4 miles from Ellon.

Our progress so far, already hold State Sponsorship, paperwork lodged March this year, waiting for request for Medicals/Case Officer.. Still wating for SMP to be announced (Adelaide & Sydney still not out!?). Husband is a Builder, so shouldn't be a problem, so we hear!?

Our house up for sale etc...

So then, what do you think of Adelaide so far!!!???

What area of Aberdeen did you live in?... we live 4 miles from Ellon in the countryside, Drumwhindle. We have grown up kids and a 12 yr old still at home who is reluctant to move, but we think/hope/believe she (Sophie will have a fantastic life over in Adelaide.. We are hoping to move over early summer 2011. Have our State Sponsorship and waiting for Medical request/Case Officer etc...

House up for sale.... would love to move over asap to get our daughter settled into school out there, as Sophie turned 12 in Sept we would let her repeat P7 over there.

Leaning towards "Flagstaff Hills" Adelaide Hills/Hallet Cove , areas.

Would appreciate any advise you could offer of course,

Hi, we are enjoying it but its taking me a while to settle. Think part of it is moving to a city although the better weathers here so thats certainly helping. We live in seaford which we love, near to schools, shops and of course the beach. If you need anything let me know, it would be good to meet when you get here, good luck with the rest of the process
