Took Mrs Tyke out today to try and get her pulling her first Snapper up.

Sat on a lesser known spot, saw the Barges were chocco as Rundle Mall!

Got parked up on our own, plenty of berley going out.

An hour later a biggie took a bait and started it's run with the characteristic head shake.

Suddenly it took off even faster with lots of side to side sawing movement - classic shark action:shocked:

Had a go at pulling in but suddenly the line cut:realmad:

Great fun watching Mrs Tyke's face when I said I had a Shark on!!!!!

Lost another big Snapper the same way later.:o

Two boat then came in a dropped anchor right behind us in the berley trail so it was time to go in.

    Ho Hum, never mind.

Out in the Bay with my old mate tomorrow on the hunt for Whiting :cute:

    Ouch Steve!!!

Told Mrs Tyke to give the Shark one of those stares she give me when I make a comment like that. They would soon have buzzed off.:cute:

Is that me off the hook then? :biglaugh: :nah:I'm heading off solo to Hallett Cove tomorrow, hopefully at least get something.....no bananas, cabbages or melons on the boat!

I counted at least 10 boats on the barges this morning when I drove along the espalanade! :nah:
