We realise the January blues can hit hard, but today, here at Moneycorp, we’re celebrating... Australia Day!

The date actually commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet at Sydney Cove in 1788 and the proclamation of British sovereignty over the colony of New South Wales. At the time, the island was known as New Holland.

A recent survey by Moneycorp revealed that Australia is still the favourite destination for Brits looking to move overseas – so it seems it’s not just the England cricket team looking to take over Down Under!
