    Hiya

We hope to arrive July/August time and plan to go into fully serviced rental on arrival. Has anyone stayed in one they would recommend?

Also, how long should we book it for? Is 4 weeks enough time for us to find a longer term rental?

    Thanks for any input

    John and Trish

PS We are a family of 4 - two grown up boys 20 & 18

G'day John, We stayed at Tyke 's woodcroft and 2nd time round seaford house the seaford house is bigger for your family . Are you shiping your own gear over here? ,4 to 6 weeks is about long enough to get sorted out , and find the right area for you guys to settle . Good luck atb Paul

Would definately recommend Judi from Roo Rentals. Stayed there for 4 weeks which we found was long enough to find a rental of our own. Judi is lovely, very helpful and her property was just like home.

    Hi

We stayed in Moana with Acacia Rentals, very reasonable and a nice sized property 3 double rooms ideal for more mature kids! We only had 3 weeks, so recommend at least 4 - unless you like the worry and stress involved :0/

    Best of luck

    Hi,

There are plenty advertising on the forum now.

Can only vouch for who we used and that was Tyke at Aussie life.

We had the Woodcroft house which is a lovely 3 bedder with double garage for storing all your stuff you buy when you get here.

4 to 6 weeks would be about right.

Thanks for info - I will get in touch with them and see what happens. We're still not sure what to ship, but don't think it will be much, couple of settee's, washing machine, tvs (still dunno whether they will work or not - two are brand new) some tables and just personal stuff. We've got Pickfords quoting this Thursday - I expect that will give us a bit more focus on what we really want to bring and whether its worth it

TVs will work here but you'll need a set top box to get signal. If theyre new you should have hdmi sockets and will be fine. If they only have Scart you'll need to get special cables to connect anything. Search the forum coz there's several threads that tell you what will work and where to get cables if you need them.
