    Hi all

My hubby is avery experienced secondary school maths teacher and wondering if jobs are hard to come by in adelaide.

He has taught for 12 years and is also head of the sixth form in a large comp.

    Thanks

Maths and science teachers at senior level used to be in short supply. I'm not sure what it is like now. He could try emailing the private schools who start advertising about mid year for the following year to see if there are any positions. For the public schools you have to go through Decs and apply to them.

Experienced maths teachers teaching up to year 12 (here) are always going to find work.

If he can teach physics at that level or a up to year 10, then that might be an advantage.

Having looked at the job paper every week for about 3 months I would say he would have no problems in finding work
