I going to Adelaide for a year in September. Is it better for me to take out a Health insurance policy in Adelaide or is it better to take a policy out in Ireland before I go? Im slightly confused by it all. Anyone recommend any good companies. Im 25, great health with no medical problems at all.:)

Hi,

If you are coming over for a year on a visa you should take out travel insurance which will cover you for the 12 months, Which part of Ireland are you from. the UK has a reciprical agreement with Australia and are entitled to a medicare card which is the Australian NHs.
