Carpenter Joiner License

    Hi all need help, we are moving to Adelaide in late Sept this year. Can anyone tell me if i have to apply for any sort of Licence for my Job. Im am looking to work direct for a company either in shopfitting/cabinet making. Have been told that some states require you are licenced . Though dont know whether need one in S.A. :err:

    If you are working for a company on wages you do not need a licence. You will only need a licence if you are self employed working for yourself or sub contracting to someone. You will need to get a white card if you will be doing site work but thats no big thing a day course and about $100 to get it. Its just about saftey etc
