Was wondering about going again this year. Not sure if we will or not. Depends on the weather and if hubby has a race that weekend.

Anyone new going, will suggest to take a torch for the walk back to your car (you may end up parking a ways from the oval and be walking back to your car in the dark). Also get there a bit early if you can (if its not wet and soggy) as kids can run round a bit, there is plenty of food and drink to buy and also some stalls, bouncy castle and one or two other things iirc. Food and drinks were sold out later on or else it was very limited choice wise. Mind you, too early may see kids get a bit bored once they have had a bounce and scoffed some food. Guess it depends on the kids and whats on offer and if they can amuse themselves ok.

Bonfire is HUGE and HOT  Fantastic to toast yourself on from 20ft away. Fireworks were good, nice to see.
