The Birds here are certainly different!

Have you noticed that the Blackbirds here sing with a different twang from their UK counterparts?Not quite as quaint,but still beautiful.The Sparrows seem to chirp much the same as they do back home,but the Magpies look like black and white Rooks.Oh yeah,and the pigeons are really tufted Doves!:wink:

I thought the sparrows came over from the UK originally anyways.

 

I love the different birds in Aus. I loved seeing flocks of tufted doves/pigeons (or horny birds as I fondly call them) and the flocks of galahs. I oooed for ages taking pics of all the different birds.
