Can we take our Xbox and Wii's to Oz and will they work?

Hi everyone

We have finally decided to join the forum but have been reviewing the items for a while. We are hoping to get our visa by the summer so we are starting to think about what we can take with us and what we need to sell. Our son's life revolves around his Xbox at the moment and he wants to buy a Wii with his Xmas money but we are not sure if this is a good idea.....any help or advice would be great.

from other posts on here, as far as I am aware, these items work okay in oz the only difference being......the plug. The advice given was that the plug can be changed, but this has to be carried out by a ceritified electrician, but can be expensive if you have quite a few plugs needing changed.

 

the other information was that you take over a couple of extension cables and that way you only need to change the one plug!

 

We are taking all our consoles with us too.

Hi,

our kids systems work fine with uk/aus power adaptors. A little cheaper than getting an electrician as they are a few pounds each.

xbox works fine overhere just changed plug have also bought 360 games in oz and they have worked fine ,both systems on pal cant tell you about wii as bought ours over here but would imagine would work fine phil
