Cat Mircrochip failed to scan in AUZ

Hello, been in Adelaide a year now so thought it was about time for cats checks, wanted to transfer Identichip details from UK to AUZ.

 

Had anyone else had problems with scanning pet chips? Our two cats were scanned in the UK for there chips before they set off and all worked well, doesn't here, but i thought these chips were universal?

 

Have tried two vets with no luck

Very strange. Our cat's microchip scanned just fine. Not sure where you are but when we got ours scanned it was at Findon Vets on Grange Road.

We use PawsGalore at Christies Beach - our UK cat scanned fine there....

Have the chips moved? Might need to scan limbs and along the body and up the neck more in case they have shifted position. It does happen.
