Hi all my wife loged on,on my behalf bad idea.I see you are all meeting up at mascrat manor at 2pm on the 27 of January,my family and I would like to meet up as well,basically to have a chat and find out as much info as possible.

 

The situation we are in at present is that we have passed TRA and secured SA Sponsorship,we are now waiting for Visa and instructions to go for medicals and Police checks.

 

How will everybody recognise each other.

I will have a mancity top on and so will my 6 year old son.god knows whwt the wife will be wearing.

 

Hope to see you all on Sunday 27 at 2pm .

Steve 37 Lorraine 40 Reece 6 and Lynsey 17 unsure if she will be there.

We are at exactly same stage as you are!Just waiting to hear from agent when we should go for medicals and send off for police checks!When i say we i mean : myself Gill(40)full time mum/hsewife, hubby Tom (44)Telecom Engineer and our 4 kids aged 3,7,8(only girl) and 10.So look forward to meeting you and having a chat!We have not been before so don't know anybody yet!Getting house valued next week and thinking of putting it on the market soon as we hopt to be in Adelaide this summer all being well!When are you hoping to get there and do you have any areas in mind!Your youngest son is similar age to one of little boys called David.How do the kids feel about moving to oz?

Like you not sure where in Adelaide we are going or when, but we hope to get there for their summer October ish .The lad Reece loves the idea but the daughter not convinced as she is applying for Universities here in the UK, but she is still on the Visa application so she will come out with us at first and then who knows.If you are going to this meet up we can have a chat.If I dont hear from you again my family and I will see you on the 27 bye for now

Hi steve, we are hoping to get to the north west meet ourselfs, looks like were in same situation as you waiting on police checks and meds, we decided also going on a reccie in march to have a look around.

Hi steve, chris and ceri here.....cunnah10 (gill) replied to my thread and told me about the meeet in Warrington on the 27th. Can we invite ourselves too!!?

chris and i are emigrating in December. I was born in adelaide 43 years ago! my brother and mum and dad are already back there. house on market and applying for visa for chris very soon, just waiting for a bite on the house.

Can you let us know exact name and rough idea of location and we can google it.ooh and time please too.

The pub is called Mascrat Manor, I think that is spelt correctly! Anyway its located just off the M6 J21 (Thelwall) can't miss it really!
