    The Call Centre is currently recruiting to increase the number of casual operators. The Call Centre and relevant recruiting agencies have, in the past, received numerous calls from police officers and ASO's regarding employment opportunities at the Call Centre for friends and relatives.

    In an effort to improve our selection processes, the Call Centre is seeking applications for these positions from interested persons.The Position Information Document (PID) is available from the Call centre

    Applicants should also note that external advertising appeared in the Advertiser on Saturday, 10th September, 2011, A Notice of Vacancy will also be posted on the Government site.

    The recruitment process will include:

    Written application addressing criteria set out in the PID

    Telephone interview

    Assessment centre

    Interviews

    Final selection, with successful applicants starting the 5 week full-time training course on Monday 14th November, 2011.

    Salary is ASO2 Casual rate - $25.34 per hour (incl. 20% loading).* Shift loading and public holiday loadings also paid.

    Do you need to be a Aus Citizen to join SAPOL or can you get sponsored , as my 18 yo nephew is intrested in recruiting

    ratters is correct, all someone needs is PR at the moment. SAPOL only does sponsorship of currently serving police officers in the UK and their recruiting policy can change at a moment's notice so it's best to keep an eye on their home page.
