    Hello there,

I'm a 27 year old girl new to this city and would be great to meet some new people. I have family here and have just arrived on a 12 month working visa. Looking to travel all over but would like to get to know Adelaide for a bit first. Bit about me...I'm from London, worked as a journalist back there, here to write some stuff...and explore the country as much as possible.

Would be cool to hear from anyone who enjoys er...socialising, old buildings, red wine, reading, life in general...etc etc...

    Cheers,

    Amy (Flagstaff Hill area.)

    Hey!

I'd love to meet up with you, I arrived in Adelaide just last week, and am staying in the CBD. I'm 28 and love reading, but I think we'll have to disagree on red wine, I'm more a white wine/beer kind of girl. But if you can get over that it would be great to see you (and/or anyone else!)

I don't have a car here, but am good with meeting anywhere central or maybe Glenelg since I've discovered the tram. Let me know! Or send me a pm and Ill give you my phone number!

    Hello all,

(Button, defo agree with you on the beer) if you guys fancy getting together sometime next week for coffee/booze in Glenelg then let's do it. Managed to get myself a bar job in the city now so am around centrally too. Saturday nights not so good - but have some flexibility.

There are also some pretty good gigs coming up - like Portishead or the Wombats...?? and if anyone fancies that would be cool because my bro is (regretfully) only into heavy metal.

Anyway, PM me your numbers or concur here if you reckon it's a goer.

    Cheers,

    Amy

    Hi guys,

I am also in agreement with the beer rather than red wine! i have only been in Adelaide for two weeks, and am here by myself and do not know anyone, so if anyone is up for a drink sometime let me know (or any gigs)!

Hey there, am based in st peters with my partner both just not long tipped over the 30s mark she's Ozzie and I came from maidenhead a couple of years ago. Wouldn't mind meeting some other people, city Norwood etc are good as we don't have a car either although beer or red wine suits. Now it's getting warmer beer seems the better idea
