Hubby remembers the shop, if it's the same one, his mate pinched some money out of his mums purse, bought a tent With it, went into the woods and camped, left home - his words, got caught out and dragged home, lol. Hubby has lived here all his life.

Daughter has just started high school and I think it was just too much all in one go.

If you want to PM me , so we can have a good old chat that would be brill. We are going to Mancheste

r to the emigrate expo to talk to banks shippers etc in october, not been to one for years.

G'day April & Will, were in Banksia park, near Teatree gulley, north east of Adelaide, been here for nearly a year now but we spent our 1st year in Fairview park, both suburbs are next to each other and are very quiet, the people are really friendly and very helpful. were approx 30 mins from Semiphore beach, so weve basically got everything on our door step (which is a long way from what we had in the UK) just wish we'd moved/emigrated a lot sooner though, we kepted saying that we would do it but as life goes we just never got our asses in gear! but we eventually got round to doing it, and we have never looked back, its a great place for a family and theres always something to do. regards Paul Julie

Hi Julie, we know that feeling too, the other day we worked out that it's been about 10 years since we first thought of OZ, why didn't we do it earlier! Put our visa in 3 years ago. IWW can't wait for the big move, I just wish I had a magic wand to do everything and get out there. Did you find it easy to make friends or did you know someone before you went out?
