    Hello,

This is my first Thread on the forum! myself and my family have been in Adelaide for over a year now... and I can say I am missing the english sense of humour - I am from Lancashire I am here with my husband who is 33 and two little girls aged 9 and 4 It would be nice to meet some characters to have a laugh with!!! with children same sort of age we are based in eastwood area.

    Thanks

    Hi Millie

This is my first reply to a thread! Im Rachel. Myself (36), partner Wesley (40) and 2 two boys aged 11 and 15 are visiting Adelaide for 3 weeks next month. If all goes well we plan to emigrate July 2013. We are from Colne in Lancashire - where abouts in Lancs are you from? I have heard this a few times now... that although Australia is fantastic it does not share our sense of humour. This worries me cause I love having a laugh! We were hoping to meet up with some like minded folk while over there on our recci - we are staying in Port Noarlunga, is that anywhere near you?

Does Lancashire have its own unique brand of humour?

Aussies love a laugh as much as anyone......
