Gardener / Groundsman looking for work!

Hi Guys, we arrive in Adelaide on the 10th November and was wondering if anyone knows of any gardeners jobs around? I have got state sponsorship as a general gardener but I actually specialise in cricket pitch preparation. Obviously I am prepared to do anything and will be looking at both avenues.

 

I have sent my CV to all the councils as I currently work in the UK for a local council and we understand that they are run pretty much the same with very similar jobs. The ones that have got back to me have no vacancies but will keep checking their job sites.

 

Here are just a few of my daily duties in the UK:

Sports Turf Maintenance,Horticultural Maintenance in parks, public open spaces and any other areas maintained by the local authority, dealing with members of the public, Green Flag preparation (planting of bedding plants, pruning, other general gardening duties).Proficient use of fine turf and horticultural machinery. Working on Sites of Special ScientificInterest.. Acting up duties as teamleader. Producing high standard of cricket pitches.

 

It would be great to hear if there is anything about?

Charles Sturt Council is the western suburbs of Adelaide and takes in West Lakes, Grange, Henley, Woodville etc.
