Moving to Adelaide in a month, please help me

Hello everybody,

 

Finally i got my 475 Visa and moving to Adelaide, but i am scared to death as i do not know anybody there and do not know what to do?

 

like how to arrange for a temporary resedance? and how to start my new life?. anybody has ideas please share it with me.

First off, have a look at the section on here for rental property etc. If you know when you are arriving you can always post there and ask if anyone has a short term rental available for those dates.

Hopefully those will give you a starting point.

 

As for how to start your new life, its a bit open ended. I've no clue as to your interests, work or anything else so can't really suggest much. I'd have a read round the forum and read about schools, areas to live in and so on and see if anything appeals. Also factor in where you might be working so you don't have too long a commute.

Thank you Snifter and Hutchy, i still did not find a job as i am migratiing under state sponsership( i work as a database administrator), so firstly i need to rent a cheap one bedroom (i dunno where is the best place), until i find a job and rent a proper flat
