Hiya, when we emigrate ( May we hope) I would like to get my 8 year old daughter fixed up with some sports clubs. She likes most sports and dancing. She also goes to the Brownies which I think are worldwide now? I think we are coming to Morphett Vale (ish) area....

Thanks:v_SPIN:

Just run your cursor over the little symbols and the details appear on the left of the screen.

Brownies is popular and so is dance.

See you when you get here.

Shonagh,

I can help put you in touch with a Guide leader in the area you settle in just PM me when you know. I say Guide Leader because they no longer have Brownies here, (no section's like Rainbow's, Brownies or Guides), everyone is called a Guide. My Unit is in Hillcrest (Oakden/Northgate) but I can help you find a eader near to you when the time is right or you can get in touch with state office. Their number is on the bottom of the website http://www.guidessa.org.au/

Hi Di ,

Thanks for that! Amy will be made up she will be called a guide! Its funny the things that please them!

I have been offered a RMN post at Royal Adelaide hospital , glenside unit so we are busy trying to find suburbs near there and still close to the beach. We are swithering between Oakden area or the other way at Reynella East...so hard to decide! Think we are going to apply for OAA and then look better once we are there. Will definetly get in touch about the guides tho thanks.

Shonagh:)

Glad to be of service.

Reynella East is fab if I do say so myself, a couple of houses up for sale in the area or they were, they go within a week around here.

Shonagh, a few people have mentioned the TV, yes and everyone has been so totally lovely about it, it is extremely touching. Very humbling in fact to be on the receiving end of so much warmth.

Good luck and see you when you get here. We got OAA when we arrived.

Hi again Libby ,

Its very frustrating at the mo as we can't do anything until we get visa. I have realised I am not as patient as I thought I was! just wan't to get going.... Hopefully we will hear soon- nothing else we can do. God knows what we will do if they turn us down as now sold house ,moved out and officially homeless!

Hope to be there soon , fingers , toes etc crossed:)
