Visa Validation

Hi lovely PIAs,

 

I was wondering whether there is any recent change/ obligation about validating OZ PR visa for SA SS 176 as I am planning to visit Cairns. In other words, can a 176 visa holder validate his/her visa by visiting a different state than the sponsored state?

Hi you can validate anywhere, as long as it is in oz! we validated in perth although were going to adelaide, purely because it was less flight time :)x

Can everyone validate separately?

 

Not that we're planning to, but if one of us got an irresistible Job Offer - would it be the main applicant that would have to validate first, or could their other half go out first for example?

That will depend. It will be clear on the visa grant if you have this condition. Main applicant must enter first condition 8502 will be noted on the grant letter. If it isn't there then it doesn't matter as long as you all enter by the validation date.

 

Some people have it and some don't doesn't seem to be any logic to it!
