Hi Essue,

So what's your next plan of action? Are you going to the tribunal court requesting visa grant for your brother? I heard sometimes even a minister can also intervene?

Hi Daytrader, I am almost positive that the only way of appealing visas are to have had the application go through completely and be refused, then and only then, can you appeal to the appeals tribunal, if they consequently refuse to change the outcome and also refuse to grant the visa, then you can ask for ministerial intervention.

It is this way because I guess otherwise anyone who did not fit the criteria to be granted a visa could just appeal to the minister. As Wrussel, as far as I know a very well respected MARA agent, has offered to advise you, I would be jumping at that chance and listening to what he says. It may save you a lot of money in the end.

Unfortunately not everyone can get a visa to live in Australia, for health or other reasons.

Best wishes Claire
