Mum is trying to tex me but can't

can anyone tell me the codes for mobile to mobile (cell) UK to Oz

My mum is trying to tex me from the UK, she tried starting the 0061 8

but is it different for mobiles?

i have skyped but were on a dongle and its pants.

 

also im looking for employment as a carpenter )

you have got to start with a +61 miss out the 0 then your number if you can text her just get her to save the number to her contacts and the number will be there with all the codes etc.

Chris, the "8" in the +61-8 bit of the number, is the South Australian area code. You only use this for landline phone numbers.

 

As Ian said above, tell mum to just drop the initial "0" from your mobile number.

All mobile numbers in oz start "04xx" so it'd need to be +614xxxxxxxx for it to work. Obviously replace the "x" with your digits.
