Hi

 

Just wondering if there are any ladies that meet for coffee etc.? Going a bit stir crazy just now and need to get out and meet new people, we have only been here 3 months and have hit the homesickness part!!

Hi, I live in Darwin at the moment, but we are looking to move down to Adelaide shortly. I am down here this week just having a look around. Wondering if anyone can recommend what to do with a 3 and a 2 yr old? We have been to zoo and are staying at Henley beach, so have seen some parks and beaches. Thanks

Hi

 

Depends where you are staying, but hahndorf farm barn is good, cleland animal park or gorge wildlife park are good. There is a great swimming place called waterworld On golden grove road in ridgehaven. Your kids may be a bit little but st kilda adventure park is good.

Also the Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha,and Glenelg has the arcade with rides and water chutes etc. and mini golf.Maybe drive down to Victor for the day,see the horse drawn tram to Granite Island.

Hiya Ladies... Just a quickie... a big group of us meet up every Wednesday from 11.30am at the wooden fort in Port Noarlunga... Its a big wooden play area so we let the kids go play (mine are 1 & 3 yo) and there are others with kids and some without who just come for a natter... we take a picnic lunch & stay there til its time to pick the older ones up from school...

 

You are more than welcome to join us anytime... if you do decide to come down, just find the table filled with women & the occassional man (trust me, it wont be difficult)... and ask for Susie or just explain you are from Poms in Adelaide...

 

It is a lovely day out for Mums & kids... There are people from all over Adelaide who come so you could meet someone who lives on your doorstep...

hello its a website for ladies who have emigrated, i got it through a friend and we have had some great fun, i think if you look me up on face book michelle murphy i can add you as a friend , we meet up weds at the fort and its such fun, you are welcome to come to the coffee morning some of the girls will be there pm tomorrow tc michelle x

Hi,It was the first coffee meet i've done and i mentioned it on another post in reply to start with. That may be why we had a low turn out! We are going back to the UK for a family wedding,so will be a month before i arrange another. I will post details nearer the time for a weekday coffee morning and will then arrange a following BBQ or drinks afternoon so anyone at school or work gets to meet too. Deb
