Adelaide Oval Parking

Hi everyone,well we have been here a week now and are loving it,its sunny and warm what else could you ask for??

 

How about live international cricket!!!

 

We have got some tickets for tomorrows game at the Oval but have no idea where to park.Is it worth going on on the train from Noalunga or is there plenty of parking nearby??

 

If anyone could give us a point in the right direction that would be great

Go on train........have customary drink in The Strathmore then on to the ground for a few more sherberts.........after the game the casino normally a good stop waiting for last train back!!

There won't be a big crowd tomorrow - so there will be no problem parking by the ground (about $10-15).

My husband is a member, definately train if you can. been stuck many times in a queue trying to get a park. if you do drive and it is busy, I park at the festival theatre and walk

If you park on the grass at the oval, you do get a free car wash - they put the blinking sprinklers on whilst we were parked there on Tuesday!!!

I reckon if you are parked on Adelaide Oval today there's a few cricketers that would get upset too!

Why not park near Marion Road/South Plympton and catch the tram in? or near South Terrace and pick up a free bus?

We have always managed to find street parking within five minutes walk

My husband went in on the bus as i had the car today - the match has only just finished and I was ready for bed. He's due at Aberfoyle Hub at 11.08 and needs a lift home. If you see a strange woman with a cardie over her jammies just ignore me - I was just off to bed and now have to stay up another hour!
