Err from the top of my head.......

'Say Goodbye' - S Club

'So Long Farewell' - Soundtrack of Sound of Music

'I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane' - John Denver (amongst many others)

'We gotta get Out of This Place' - The Animals

'Goodbye - Spice Girls

'I never Can Say Goodbye' - Gloria Gaynor

'Should I Stay or Should I Go Now' - The Clash

'Time for Change' - Motley Crew

Bananarama did something which went 'Na-na, na na nah na, Hey eh Goodbye.

And finish it off with 'Everybody Hurts' - REM

Cant think of any "goodbye" themed OZ song ATM! But there is Jimmy Barnes "working class man" or "eagle rock". John Farnham "your the voice". "Howzat" (cant remeber their name, Django would remember that song Im sure!:jiggy:) Anything by "Acdc" Or "everywhere you go" by crowded house.

sarah

just thought is it "everywhere you go " or "always take the weather with you" ????

Are you admitting to owning a S Club album....?

Errrr no. Just do songs.

You could leave the party just before the end and tell the DJ to play 'Come Back' by The Equals. ;)

Hi,

You could have 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' by Elton John or 'Miss You When You're Gone' by the Cranberries - not sure if thats the correct title but its a real tear jerker!!!

now then .... i can't believe that no-one has mentioned the Oz god himself ....

ROLF HARRIS ?

we had Two Little Boys played, and it brought the house down and not too many dry eyes either. All things Australian, you should have some Midnight Oil, AC/DC (already mentioned), Men at Work - Land Downunder (already mentioned), INXS, Kylie, Delta, The Rogue Traders and Sneaky Sound System.

I have the say though, the song of the night at our leaving do, was Rolf and then Emerson, Lake and Palmer - Fanfare for the Common Man .... nothing to do with the subject matter at all, but for all the old rockers out there .....

Wish we could be there, love a party!

Cheers

Sas

Now the rogue traders are great...hoping to catch them live when we arrive.... Natalie Basingwaithe...MMMMM!!

Steph is Delta fan so will probably have some of that....!

We have found copies of/downloaded loads of the songs mentioned...how ever we downloaded Rolf doin 'Tie me Kangaroo down, sport'..... and a great Charlie Drake song called 'My boomerang wont come back'!!!

Should be a good do!
