Furniture on a budget!!!

    Recommended Posts

    Hi,

We have been living in a furnished rental for the last 1 1/2 years. Never really looked at the furniture prices.

But now we are looking to move into an unfurnished rental in 4 weeks.

What is the best way to get the basics at a reasonable cost?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

    Mari

    Hi Mari,

Lots of cheaper shops - fantastic furniture, freedom, super amart - ikea a bit more. Also shops Kmart and Big W that do everything including all household items, electrical, tables, chairs, drawers, storage etc- not saying they are fantastic quality- I dont know, but probably worth a look.

Fantastic Furniture, Freedom - a bit more but stylish, Super Amart, Kmart and Big W, Forty Winks for beds - Ikea good too. Also Gumtree and second hand shops. Great bargains (up to 70% off) at Carpet warehouses such as Rugs a Million. Always sales on somewhere.
