Folks

Off the back of our last function in June......we thought we should organise another.

Sat 27th October 7.00pm 'til 1.00am at the ever so well used Brighton Rugby club.

Our last do (Jubilee) saw more that 200 attend, so for the best Pommie ticket in town , don't delay. This is an advanced warning and tickets at the usual $10 will be available soon. Watch this space.

As ever contact me for FB link.

A little bit of blighty in Australia for everyone. Quality music, the cheapest drinks prices in Adelaide and a real good vibe to the night.

It's getting bigger people so don't delay.

Pete and Steve

Tickets arrived today....so roll up. We sold over 50 to PIA members and friends last time for what was a great night of 'let your hair down' nostalgic tunes.

PM and we will get them to you. If you like a good party then join the already rolling bandwagon

Are these do's suitable for children (11, 10 & 7)?

We've only arrived this week but that would be my birthday weekend and the children would enjoy a Hallowe'en party but only if it's family fun?!

same here 7yrs and 16yrs are they ok to come along

thanks

I would love to say yes, but the feedback we get is that people like to get away from their kids for the night and let their hair down a bit. Otherwise it's like a wedding with the kids (not necessarily yours) skidding on their knees on the dance floor and getting high on crisps and cola before having to be carried home at 10.00pm. We are thinking about doing an outdoor family type thing in summer if we can sort out how to play music etc.

The weather is hopefully turning now and our minds are set on spending a bit more time without the heating cranked up and being holed up indoors. It's time to plan ahead now for the forthcoming spring season. 27th October offers a great way to ring in the warmer months. 2 months to go now so get a move on with ticket purchases. Get a group together for a great night out.

Most of those to PIA members i might add. Keep the enquiries coming, we don't bite. Anyway nearly half tickets have been sold or ordered.

Tell us what you like music wise too. We will play most genres at some point, but its all about having a good time. We will play Brit pop, current chart stuff, Ska, two tone, classic disco, bit of souly stuff, even punky stuff and general party tunes. Anything to get a party moving.

There are no other nights like this organised in Adelaide (as far as we know).

Don’t forget we are having a bit of a Todd Carty to celebrate our English heritage in music. It might be Halloween but it’s all about the sounds and the coming together of people who miss good tunes. Not taking away anything from Australia, but British music and music from our yoof are what we are known for and what we miss, it’s in the blood. That’s where we come in. It’s a quality night out, cheap booze, safe and central venue, and it’s on ‘til 1.00am which is a bonus. An Ayrton Senna (Tenner) and for this we will lay of a proper buffet too. You can’t go Pete Tong. 27th October 2012, Brighton Rigby Club.
