    Good EVening People

Just a quick question if anyone knows!

Obviously read some of the post regarding wooden furniture, but was just thinking what you guys would think about shipping our antique wooden bookcase. it has come down my better halves family for a few generations and do not want to leave it behind.

Do you thinkto rule out all risk is to get it treated here?

    Thanks

    Chris

    Guest USA soon just SA

We too have several sentimental large antique pieces of furniture, and would be very interested in any comments or experiences others have had. As much as we would hate leaving them behind, it would be even worse to get them there, and then hear that they must be destroyed. hope to hear som ecomments soon, as we are packing the container in only 5 weeks!!!!

Bring it. We brought some antique furniture with no problems at all.

As long as there is no evidence of boring insects you will be fine.

If there is or has been ,take the piece into somewhere like Rentokil, they will "gas" the piece and give you an invoice to prove it.

        Hello,
I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations (preferably in recent years) for a pet export company? Or even any warnings about who to avoid?
We will be bringing our 4 cats with us (yes, four), and we want to make sure that it all runs smoothly. We know it will cost a lot, but we wouldn't even consider going without them.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
