We need a telephone point!

Can anyone recommend an electrician to put a telephone point in.

Does your telephone provider not do that when they connect the phone line? I know BT and Virgin did in the UK but we already had phone points in the rental so it wasn't an issue. Sorry, can't recommend anyone.

We have just moved house and there are no phone points anywhere! Telstra will fit a point but they charge loads for it.

jims antennas installed our wimax internet point, not sure how much it was as it was included in the start-up package, but the service was very quick and efficient. may be worth giving them a call

Good ones do, sadly an electrical licence lets us play with anything up to and over 11,000 volts :goofy:but phones are a different league.

 

Need to have an Austel licence. (Sorry mine expired)

 

Usually the provider puts one line into the property then an Austel licenced contractor can do the extensions but often on rental properties the owners take the line/connection points out.
