Hi all,

Just thought I would let everyone know about a new Government funded scheme to reduce carbon emmissions in SA which has just started this week. It has been running in Sydney for nearly five years now and is being rolled out across Australia with Federal backing.

Here is the deal: The government via its nominated agent (FieldForce in SA) will retrofit all of your existing incandescent light globes and showerheads and replace them for new energy efficient CFL's and Water efficient shower heads (if you have an electric water heating system) for FREE..

Gas heating systems are already Carbon efficient so don't qualify. This represents a big saving on your energy bills, a CFL light globe is 80% more efficient than the old incandescent type and lasts up to 15000 hours which is a darn sight longer too.

The average household can save up to $300 per annum of electricity bills by converting, so definately something worth considering. And of course it is directley reducing your carbon emmisions, so you are proactively doing your bit to help the environment.

The number to ring to get more info or book an appointment is 1800 815 402.

Thanks
